These Are The Biggest Players in the Philippine Business Process Outsourcing Industry

The Business Process Outsourcing Industry (BPO) has been a major economic driver of the country. It is the second largest source of dollar income for the Philippine economy next to overseas Filipino worker (OFW) remittances. In 2016, the industry provided the Philippines with 1.3 million jobs and 25 billion U.S. dollars in revenue.

Every year, the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Business World publish the Top 1000 Philippine Corporations. It is a list of the top Philippine corporations of the previous year in terms of revenue. The list is usually published around November each year.

We still don’t have a copy of the 2016 Edition which lists the top players for 2015, but we do have the 2015 Edition listing the top players of 2014.

1. Accenture (P 38,088 million)

Accenture is one of the pillars of the Philippine BPO industry. It is one of the largest I.T. firms in the country today. It has consistently topped the list of the Top BPO Firms in the Philippines in terms of revenue. In 2014, Accenture’s gross revenue was P38.088 billion.

Also, Accenture consistently makes to Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies. It’s been on the list for 15 consecutive years!
