Tim Herbert, senior vice president of research and market intelligence at CompTIA, believes that aside from hard skills, softer ones will be needed from IT professionals as more IT projects overlap with business units. Soft skills like project management, communication, and presentation will be in-demand by employers, according to Herbert.
