Description

We need an experienced Front-end Developer to work on the client-side of our web applications. This is a full-time, permanent position, and you will become part of a fast-growing JavaScript team. Candidates should be self-starters, fearless about asking questions when they don’t know the answers, and capable of managing their own time. They should be passionate about learning new technologies and ideally write some code outside work from time to time.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Developing HTML, CSS, and jQuery on petcircle.com.au
  • Creating dynamic styling and effects with jQuery.

 

Activities:

  • Converting our designs into pixel-perfect HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
  • Updating existing HTML, CSS, and jQuery to apply new styles & features.

 

Key Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Ability to convert our designs into responsive HTML & CSS with pixel-perfect accuracy.
  • Good knowledge of jQuery.
  • Ability to edit HTML on JSP pages (i.e. HTML pages with Java code in them).
  • Passionate about agile methodologies.
  • Willing to work in BGC, Taguig.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Working for an Australian client, or exposure to foreign clients is a plus.
  • Good interpersonal skills and should be able to communicate at all levels including but not limited to presentations and meetings.
