The Sales Consultant starts by helping and then, eventually, manages a book of business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for making outbound cold calls daily to qualify leads for the Account Executives.
  • Responsible to set up appointments with decision maker per month with qualified leads.
  • Manage all aspects of the front end of the sales cycle.
  • Document all customer interactions and update opportunities using Netsuite (CRM)
  • Manage customer satisfaction to generate additional business, referrals and testimonials.
  • Responsible for making calls daily to generate their own book of business using targeted lists provided by clients and to do outbound cold calls to larger school districts.
  • Engage with Directors and C-level officers to develop long term business relationships.
  • Qualify leads by asking critical questions and analyzing situations to find sales opportunities.
  • Prepare, deliver, and follow up on quotes, purchase orders, delivery, etc.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle and move opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Generate a pipeline of opportunities and meet annual sales target.
  • Document all customer interactions and update opportunities using a CRM.
  • Manage customer satisfaction to generate additional business, referrals and testimonials.

  • Ability to communicate ideas quickly and clearly, counter objections, and gain specific information needed to qualify a prospect.
  • Highly developed critical thinking skills, ability to quickly assess and dig for customer needs using highly developed consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, handle workload, and be flexible at all times.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strategic, self-driven, highly motivated, detail and results oriented.
  • A team player and can communicate openly. Receptive to feedback and changes.
  • Disciplined and persistent, confident and professional. Exude enthusiasm with a positive attitude


  • Good communication, written and oral, and customer service skills
  • Highschool graduate
  • Minimum of 2-3 years BPO experience
  • Minimum of 1 year Post Sales Customer Service; last campaign should not be a B2C cold calling except if scope is with Account Management or Win-back or Retention experience
  • Not less than 1 year tenure in the last company
  • B2B consultative sales and account management background is definitely a plus
  • Proficient in using MS Office such as Excel, PPT and Word
  • Ability to sell and negotiate
  • A fast learner and can work under minimal supervision
