Description

  • Solution Design & System Development
    • Lead a team of engineers to deliver feasibility studies, solution designs, blueprints and specifications to meet business requirements for approved projects and governed change requests
    • Develop and maintain the artefacts that define the technology blueprints for associated applications
    • Lead a team of engineers to develop, configure and/or code high-quality applications that are secure, sustainable, cost efficient from an operational perspective and meet business needs
    • Support the full application development lifecycle of allocated projects including scoping, project definition, design, development, testing and implementation for areas of team responsibility
    • Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all aspects of application design, development and implementation
  • IT Design Governance
    • Accountable for ensuring all functional and technical production changes to systems and modules within area of responsibility adhere to quality requirements, processes and required standards
  • Release & Lifecycle Management
    • Responsible for managing and implementing regular product releases and upgrades to area of responsibility
  • Lead Application Support
    • Proactively, develop and implement maintenance and support processes to deliver efficient and effective support and drive continuous improvements
  • Vendor & Budget Management
  • Application Consolidation, Software Asset & Security Activities
  • Stakeholder Engagement

Key Qualifications

Critical Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in an IT-related discipline
  • 10 + years in an IT application role
  • 5+ years’ experience in one or more applications including Web development, Sharepoint, Service Now with RPA experience an advantage
  • 2+ years’ in a team lead role
  • Strong planning skills to conduct planning and forecasts
  • Proven experience in managing a multi-sourced team of employees, contractors and multiple vendors
  • Demonstrated experience and competency in Agile project management
  • Demonstrated problem solving and remediation skills
  • Strong customer engagement and relationship building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate to technical and lay audiences
  • Initiative to anticipate situations and problems and ability to advise on appropriate workarounds and solutions
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience managing a geographically distributed team
