Job Title: Area/Field Sales Manager (FMCG – Ice Cream)
Location: Multiple areas across the Philippines
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager / National Sales Manager
Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and execution
excellence within the assigned territory. A key priority of this role is to support and
enable distributors in driving sell-out performance, ensuring strong in-market
execution across all channels. This role involves managing distributor operations,
leading field sales teams, and ensuring strong in-market presence. The ASM plays a
critical role in translating business strategies into actionable plans that deliver
results.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive achievement of sales targets and KPIs within the assigned territory
• Partner closely with distributors to strengthen sell-out execution, improve
throughput, and maximize off-take at outlet level
• Manage and develop distributor partnerships to ensure efficient operations and
market coverage
• Lead, coach, and monitor field sales teams to ensure high performance and
execution excellence
• Implement trade marketing programs, promotions, and channel strategies
effectively to accelerate sell-out
• Ensure optimal product availability, visibility, and merchandising across outlets to
drive consumer purchase
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify sell-out
growth opportunities
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain to avoid stock issues and
support continuous sell-out
• Strengthen relationships with key accounts and trade partners
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing strategies, and trade guidelines
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field
• At least 3–5 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in Food & Beverage
• Proven experience in handling distributors and managing field sales teams
• Strong understanding of general trade and/or modern trade channels
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving abilities
• Willing to travel extensively within the assigned area
• Preferably with own vehicle; company-provided allowances will be given
