Finance Manager | Makati, Metro Manila
We are looking for a highly capable and business-oriented Finance Manager to support and
strengthen our operations in the Philippines. This role is ideal for someone with solid
experience in finance, accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance, particularly within
a fast-paced and growing business environment.
The Finance Manager will play a key role in overseeing daily financial operations, ensuring
compliance with Philippine regulations, and supporting business decision-making through
effective financial management and operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily finance, accounting, taxation, and treasury operations
• Ensure full compliance with Philippine tax regulations, BIR requirements, and
statutory filings
• Prepare and manage financial reports, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
monitoring
• Support operational finance activities and strengthen internal financial controls and
processes
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, government agencies, and third-party
service providers
• Provide financial and risk management support to business operations
• Monitor company expenses, inventory, fixed assets, and distributor-related financial
transactions
• Assist management in improving financial efficiency and supporting business
growth initiatives
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of reports and compliance documents
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field
• CPA license is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, accounting standards, and regulatory
compliance
• Proven experience handling BIR-related matters, tax audits, and statutory
compliance
• Experience in FMCG, trading, distribution, or food-related industries is an advantage
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Business-minded, hands-on, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of working independently
• Comfortable working in a growing and dynamic company setup
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency is highly preferred; otherwise, excellent English
communication skills are required

Geoff Curran has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia and over twenty years experience as a specialist recruitment practitioner. During that time he has worked with organizations to secure talent at the middle and senior levels.

Geoff began his recruitment career in Perth in the early 1980s. After several years with a national management consulting firm, he joined Arthur Andersen & Co. to establish its executive recruitment division.

In 1989, Geoff moved to Sydney and at Morgan and Banks specialized in recruiting for accounting and finance. He then spent two years in London, further developing his skills in this field. He returned to Sydney in 1994 and joined Margot Davis and Company, a recruitment consultancy which specialized in marketing, advertising, and marketing communications. He subsequently became a shareholder and a director in said business.

Geoff established Curran + Associates in 1998.
