Work set-up: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

 

General Role Description

As FP&A Senior Financial Analyst you will collaborate with all the FP&A Function and Regional Managers, Analysts, Finance Partners to analyze Global performance, to standardize and build reports to deliver the financial storyline in a disciplined, meaningful way.

The work will be carried out within a highly motivated team that will offer support in daily tasks. The work is done in an environment which emphasizes customer satisfaction, entrepreneurship, ownership and achieving results.

 

Key responsibilities:

In this role you will:

  • Support the Global month-end forecasting and budgeting process
  • Build strong relationships with the business in support of key business areas.
  • Challenge the forecast inputs from the other departments to obtain relevant and insightful understanding.
  • Identify opportunities to use data in support of decisions to improve business performance.
  • Act as a liaison between the business and finance teams.
  • Actively focus on supporting (& driving) business performance.
  • Communicate key messages and insights obtained through variance and trend analysis to support the business decision making across the Regions.
  • Continuously evaluate activities that can be optimized and standardized.
  • Ensure 1 version of truth across all financial reporting systems.
  • Work with the FP&A Function and Regional Managers and FP&A Analysts towards building new reports to support financial planning, management reporting, and regular and ad-hoc analyses.

Requirements:

Education: University Degree in Economics or Finance or equivalent

Experience and key skills:

  • 5+ years postgraduate experience in FP&A, Audit or Controlling required
  • Project coordination abilities represent a plus.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to transform a regular analysis into insightful business reporting with appropriate visuals – e.g., bridges, trends, graphs – to communicate key performance messages.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail:
  • Experience with front end analysis and reporting tools is a must – MS Office (advanced Excel skills).
  • Experience with PowerBI and financial planning systems – Hyperion Planning and/or HFM is a plus.
  • Experience managing and consolidating large data sets to drive a simplified message
  • Previous experience in an international and culturally diverse organization is a plus.
  • Experience of conducting transition work; process mapping skills and/or Lean - Six Sigma would be advantageous.
  • Resilience, not thrown by ambiguity, uncertainty, and risk.
  • Persuasive skills, using a style that matches the circumstances – logical persuasion, consensus building and visioning.
  • High level of ownership and accountability.
  • Language skills: English – Minimum C1 required.
