About the Role:
The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for leading and optimizing the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement coordination, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and export distribution. The role ensures the efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of raw materials and finished goods to support production targets, customer demand, and overall business profitability.
This position requires strong strategic, operational, and analytical capabilities. The Head of Supply Chain will work closely with Finance, Production, R&D, Creative, Merchandising, and Sales teams to drive operational excellence, business growth, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Supply Chain Leadership
- Develop and execute an integrated supply chain strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives and growth plans.
- Align demand planning, procurement coordination, inventory management, and logistics into a cohesive supply plan.
- Collaborate with Finance, Production, and Merchandising teams to ensure supply chain performance supports forecasted demand, budget targets, and profitability goals.
- Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Oversee inventory management across raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods, accessories, consignment, collaboration, and outright inventory categories.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance service levels, production requirements, and working capital efficiency.
- Lead warehouse operations to ensure accurate, efficient, safe, and compliant storage, handling, and dispatch processes.
- Implement inventory control measures, including cycle counting, audits, reconciliation, and material flow optimization.
Logistics & Export Operations
- Manage inbound, outbound, domestic, and export logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery to customers and distributors.
- Oversee relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation partners.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, and shipping standards.
- Optimize freight costs, transportation routes, delivery lead times, and vendor performance.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and service partners to ensure reliability, quality, and cost competitiveness.
- Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Support procurement initiatives through supplier scorecards, SLA monitoring, and performance tracking.
- Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation, cost savings, and process improvements.
Analytics, Reporting & Risk Management
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility on inventory levels, supply chain costs, operational performance, and service metrics.
- Analyze supply chain trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize exposure to supply disruptions, inventory risks, and demand fluctuations.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly and executive supply chain reports.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team through coaching, capability building, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Establish clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for all team members.
- Empower employees to take ownership of their responsibilities while providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure workforce continuity and succession planning for critical supply chain functions.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in end-to-end supply chain management, including logistics and export operations.
- Proven experience managing large-scale inventory portfolios and cross-functional supply chain initiatives.
- Strong background in ERP systems, analytics, forecasting, and supply chain reporting.
- Office is based in Paranaque, full time onsite.
