An Australian owned firm based and regulated non-bank lender with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Hong Kong and Shanghai that focuses on providing Australian residential home loans to its customers.
Job Purpose
As an Investment Operations Administrator, you will be part of the team providing support for the Manila office. The Investment Operations Administrator supports the Head of Investment Operations to deliver the Investment Operations Teams’ tasks and responsibilities. The Investment Operations Administrator will work with the Investment Operations Analysts and Senior Investment Operations Analysts to assist with all aspects of the day-to-day operations and some wider operational requirements for the organisation, including the oversight responsibility for related service providers and servicing of the relevant internal stakeholder departments.
The Investment Operations Administrator will also assist in implementing processes to improve the efficiency of the investment operations tasks along with other business requirements.
Major Responsibilities
- Administration duties
- Unit registry
- Updating client details
- Platform Maintenance
- Client onboardings
- Fund reporting, trade execution and reconciliation of fund and client positions (numeracy and working with excel is a key requirement)
- Payment Entry
- Compliance monitoring
- Manage relationships with counter-parties (Registry, Custody and Administrators)
- General Administration and business operational matters
- Perform other duties from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
- Preferably with at least 3 years experience as Investment Operations Administrator in mortgages, lending, and sales. Non-resident mortgage experience would be desirable
- Must have 2-3 years background in handling staffs
- Smart, numerate, self-motivated and eager to build relationships with all 3rd party providers to the business and colleagues
- Flexible communications skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Professionally presented at all times
- Must be hard working, friendly, energetic and willing to work under pressure
- Willing to work beyond required hours if needed and punctual at all times
- Must have a good sense of responsibility and initiative
- Mandarin speaking and writing skills are not required but would be looked upon favourably along with previous experience within the fund management industry, specifically working in unit registry
- Willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig in an onsite basis
