Job Description: Marketing Executive/Manager (Pets)
Overview

As a Marketing Executive/Manager for pets in our Brand Marketing Team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and growing our brand while making a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their loving owners. Reporting to the Brand Director, you’ll develop and execute strategies that fuel business growth, improve customer experiences, and live out our core values: Civility, Integrity, Responsibility, Compassion, Excellence, Think Different, Sense of Fun, Resilience.
Responsibilities
1. Brand Management:
- Develop and execute engaging campaigns aligned with the overall strategic marketing plan.
- Create annual Marketing Plans and effectively manage the annual Marketing Budget.
- Implement multi-channel campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle while maintaining consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and vendors to bring marketing initiatives to life.
- Measure the effectiveness of campaigns, providing actionable insights and optimizing strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
- Present marketing plans, strategies, and performance reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and execute impactful brand and category-focused events to support sustainable growth.
2. Content Strategy and Digital Management:
- Design and manage impactful content strategies for customer and internal touchpoints.
- Allocate and monitor the budget for content marketing and campaign initiatives.
- Create educational content that fosters solutions-driven interactions and elevates the customer experience.
- Collaborate with the Head of Digital Strategy to define and implement digital and social media strategies.
- Take ownership of managing the brand’s digital assets, ensuring relevance and accuracy.
3. Category Management and Business Development:
- Spearhead retail merchandising projects, including promotions, packaging, and in-store requirements.
- Partner with buyers and store executives to expand product categories and identify growth opportunities.
- Work with the Retail Director to execute tactical, category-driven campaigns that drive performance.
- Lead business development endeavors such as store expansions, supplier sourcing, and new sales channels (both online and offline).
- Mentor and coach Pet Care Advisors on product knowledge as well as pet parenting best practices.
4. Loyalty Marketing:
- Develop and introduce membership and loyalty programs to enhance customer retention and lifetime value.
- Analyze customer insights and market trends to refine outreach strategies, increase conversions, and generate qualified leads.
Day-to-Day
- Plan and execute content for social media, blogs, email campaigns, and marketing collaterals that align with brand objectives.
- Review and measure the performance of digital marketing efforts, tweaking campaigns to drive engagement and ROI.
- Lead meetings with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate marketing project updates.
- Provide hands-on support to retail and sales teams, ensuring alignment across in-store and online experiences.
- Consistently interact with customers for feedback to evolve marketing tactics in alignment with their needs.
- Inspire and support team members to execute marketing strategies in the most effective and inclusive way possible.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university.
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in marketing, preferably in an e-commerce, retail, or pet-related industry.
- Familiarity with core business software applications (e.g., MS Office, CRM, Analytics Tools).
