Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced National Key Accounts Manager to lead our efforts in managing and growing relationships with our key accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to maximize sales and profitability while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction among our national accounts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with key national accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and building trust-based partnerships.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Sales Growth: Drive sales growth within national key accounts by identifying opportunities, negotiating terms, and implementing sales strategies.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with demand planning and supply chain teams to ensure product availability, optimize inventory, and prevent stockouts.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing, and terms with national key accounts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize sales data and market insights to make informed decisions, track account performance, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align efforts and meet key account needs.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing account inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and providing excellent service.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activity within key accounts and propose counter-strategies as needed.
  • Budget Management: Manage the key accounts budget effectively, optimizing spend to achieve maximum ROI.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in national key account management within the food and beverage industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing key account relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and consumer behavior.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
