Position Summary The purpose of the Product Assistant is to provide strong support to the Product Manager and the department, to grow sales and profitability of the business. The Product Assistant is responsible for assisting in the product development and range development process of the entire department, ensuring on time delivery, production coordination including management of Critical Path, supplier daily communication and all marketing duties.
Key Accountabilities · Enter bills in NS, process payments and book couriers. · Send samples to suppliers when transitioning purchases from one supplier to another · Entering item codes, weights and dims, pricing for new items under R&D / NPI · Create NPI related reports and attend R&D Meetings · Follow up Artworks for new items (sometimes doing QA) · Website updating (product listing, descriptions, images, pricing, clearance, specials) · Assisting with competitor analysis to help identify product specification targets. · Liaise with internal departments and overseas suppliers to ensure production deadlines and product launches are met. · Assist with set-up & improvement of quality control process and procedures. · Assist with product improvements working closely with the quality team to communicate these with overseas suppliers. · Administering customer surveys, test groups and market research sessions to help guide product development. · Liase with Overseas Suppliers for Pricing, product and order information
- Graduate of any 4-year course
- Must have 2-4 years of experience as a Product Assistant to any construction products in Australia, New Zealand, and Tasmania.
- Excellent Communications Skills and fast learner
- Can start ASAP
