Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and organizational goals.
- Identify growth opportunities by analyzing market trends and competitor activities to inform decision-making.
Sales Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations of the business unit, including inventory management, sales pipeline tracking, and accurate sales forecasting.
- Ensure teams meet performance metrics and comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Business Development
- Build, nurture, and maintain robust relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry principals.
- Manage and grow the existing client base while identifying and pursuing opportunities with potential new customers.
- Implement marketing and promotional strategies designed to drive revenue growth.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team to exceed targets.
- Provide ongoing training and career development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance based on KPIs, implementing corrective actions where necessary to optimize results.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and business performance updates for senior management.

Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred but not required).
- Experience:
- Proven track record in sales leadership, preferably within the life sciences sector.
- Demonstrated success in client relationship management, team leadership, and achieving or surpassing revenue goals.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities that align with sales goals.
- Direct and inspire the sales team during daily and weekly meetings to ensure alignment with targets and objectives.
- Engage regularly with key clients and stakeholders to maintain trust and credibility.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely product availability to meet customer demands.
- Analyze weekly sales results and provide strategic recommendations to optimize outcomes.
- Address escalations and operational challenges while staying proactive and solution-oriented.
- Keep up-to-date with industry innovations, regulatory changes, and best practices, communicating insights to the broader team.
