Description
The role requires strong technical proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, ECMAScript (JavaScript), as
well as frameworks such as React.js, Knockout.js, AngularJS, XML, XSLT, .NET MVC, .NET
Web Forms and consuming RESTful APIs in a micro-service architecture. Heavy focus on
responsive design that closely aligns to WCAG 2. A strong understanding of the service delivery lifecycle as well as Git and CI/CD tooling is required.
- Proven experience in developing a variety of front-end applications across ASP.NET and
React.js, ideally e-commerce. - A minimum of 7 years software engineering experience, delivering across multiple
technologies and platforms in a commercial environment. - A minimum of 4 years experience in leading software engineering teams in the delivery of
front-end applications. - Broad knowledge of solutions architecture, technical architecture designs using UML,
standards and advanced corporate information system concepts. - Extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js and ASP.NET.
- In depth knowledge of browser based storage, security and performance tuning and the
development of robust, clean and flexible solution designs within a managed enterprise
architecture environment. - Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to present your ideas with confidence to peers and to management.
- An ability to be able to apply both best practices and innovation, in equal measure, to deliver across a complex operating environment
Desirable skills and experience:
- Jira / Confluence experience
- Other web development skills and experience (node.js)
- Experience with AWS Lambda (.NET Core), AWS Kinesis and API Gateway
- Experience with Dynatrace, ElasticSearch etc.
