Description

The Senior Manager for  Rewards and Performance is a strong contributor to the reward and performance function by being a subject matter expert and oversees the areas of compensation, benefits, mobility, performance, and recognition across the organization’s offices in APAC. 

He/she is responsible to ensure that compensation structures & benefits programs are aligned with the Company’s business and HR strategies while being competitive and locally compliant in each market segment in APAC.  He/she will lead the implementation of Performance Management, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic orientations.

Your role must be performed in full compliance with the company’s standards in terms of Quality / Safety / Legal / Ethics.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of overall reward strategies.
  • Review, adapt and implement all performance and reward-related policies, guidelines, and programs.

 

Reward

  • Develop consistent compensation principles aligned with the organization and in line with the local work culture and organizational objectives
  • Proactively keep up-to-date with related People/HR and business issues and initiatives that may impact the reward strategy and ensure relevant information is shared within the immediate team as appropriate. 
  • Ensure all reward-related practices balance affordability and competitiveness, are aligned with business objectives and rewards philosophies, are internally equitable, and are in compliance with local legislation and regulations.
  • Provide comprehensive support to key reward initiatives including salary review processes, market benchmarking, functional remuneration and incentive schemes, and policy and processes.
  • Understand current and emerging market trends, identify potential opportunities/gaps, and leverage external best practices, yet provide flexibility and local customization to account for cultural and market differences.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the reward initiatives and their related communications efforts by analyzing data and feedback and developing continuous improvement actions.
  • Participates in vendor selection and management ensuring compliance with service level agreements and efficient administration and delivery of reward programs.\
  • Ensure timely reporting on compensation & benefits elements to the Finance Department
  • Assist in the rollout and administration of long-term incentive programs
  • Support the HR VP APAC and Global Compensation & Benefits Director in local and BU/Group “ad hoc projects”.

 

Performance Management

  • Implement the company’s performance management process and drive continuous feedback culture in the Company.
  • Drive the full spectrum of the annual performance cycle, ie. Goal setting, individual development plan, talent review, performance evaluation, etc. 
  • Lead the preparation of reporting materials to the People and Remuneration Committee regionally.
  • Develop internal operating procedures and controls for the administering and managing of performance, rewards and wellness programs
  • Partner with HR business partners and different stakeholders to address any performance and reward-related matters.
  • In collaboration with the HR Tech Specialist and HRBPs to determine and implement metrics and data analytics to assess and monitor the effectiveness of Performance, Rewards, and wellness programs and initiatives.
  • Scan the market for best practices and benchmarks; and develop recommendations that will support company priorities.

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or any related field, such as business management. 
  • Minimum 5 years of regional compensation and benefits experience, preferably across APAC.  
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with great attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience with various International Job Evaluation methodologies is required.
  • Proficient with local labour legislations and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel. 
  • Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to bring impactful insights and direction to different audiences. 
  • Proactive, innovative, and able to challenge common ways of thinking. 
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) to influence and engage the different stakeholders, accompanied by cultural sensitivity.
  • Open to occasional travel to Pampanga site.
  • Comfortable in writing and conducting presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with key stakeholders.
