Description
The Performance and Operations Engineer is responsible for monitoring the assets, identifying and managing events, triggering O&M contractors’ interventions, preparing generation reports and invoicing customers. She/he will act on the following activities:
▪ Monitoring and Performance:
- Monitor data to compare with performance specifications (Budget, PeGu, KPIs, contracts...)
- Perform on-demand remote performance analysis & make recommendations based on previous & predicted results
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly O&M site priority review and reporting
- Ensure that performance reports are safely stored
▪ Contracts & Claims:
- Manage claims, warranties & other liability companies documents & liaise with O&M engineers for claim management
- Ensure administrative assistance for external stakeholders’ queries
- Redirect claims to corresponding teams efficiently
▪ Invoices & Work/Purchase Orders:
- Prepare, verify and issue invoices to power purchasers
- Perform weekly review and validation of resolved work orders
- Emit & follow purchase orders, process payment of contractor’s invoices upon O&M team validation
Qualifications / Experience required
▪ Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, any Engineering equivalent or Architecture).
▪ At least 3-4years of experience in asset performance or O&M activities within solar industry
▪ Expertise in the usage of PVsyst, knowledge of monitoring systems and CMMS are a plus
▪ Proficiency in MS Office suite.
▪ Strong analytical and problem-solving skill, capable of making recommendation and best design judgement.
▪ Resourceful and possesses pro-active mindset.
▪ Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
▪ Willing to work within a high productivity and strong excellence design environment.
▪ Fast worker with ability to work well under pressure and to work overtime when necessary
