Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist the PH Finance Controller in managing operations finance reporting, including manufacturing cost analysis, annual budgeting, and other financial performance assessments.
- Product Costing and Asset Management: Oversee product costing and asset control activities, such as annual standard cost roll, cycle counts, WIP counts, and fixed asset control.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure statutory reporting and tax compliance for the PH entity, including preparation and filing of income tax, withholding tax, VAT, and fringe benefits tax returns. Support year-end audits.
- Accounting Operations Oversight: Partner with external accounting providers to manage PH entity accounting tasks, including R2R (record-to-report) and PTP (procure-to-pay) processes.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process enhancements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Over 3 years of experience as a Finance Analyst with a strong background in tax payment management, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance, particularly with BIR and SEC requirements.
- Operational Expertise: Demonstrated ability to support day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end and year-end processes, accounts payable, and cash forecasting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and practices; advanced Excel skills required.
- Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy in all deliverables.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
