Senior Project Manager

Our client is one of the most prominent conglomerates in the Philippines  with interests in transport, water, energy and renewable energy.

They are currently seeking to appoint the Senior Project Manager for a large wind power project.

You will lead and oversee all project management aspects of the project from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and solutions to project teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, taking into consideration the specific requirements of each project.
• Monitor project budgets, oversee contractor selection and contract preparation, control costs, and provide accurate financial reporting to senior management.
• Effectively manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, facilitating clear and transparent communication.
• Identify potential risks and challenges and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success and safety.
• Stay updated on local and national statutory codes and regulations related to construction and utilities, ensuring projects are in compliance at all times.
• Promote a culture of safety on project sites, adhering to safety protocols and certifications while fostering a safe working environment for all team members. Leading the project team across all sites to maintain high safety standards.
• Mentor, train, and develop project teams to enhance their skills and ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience with preference in power projects
• Extensive knowledge of local applicable statutory codes and regulations.
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, PRC, NEBOSH).
