Job Description:
- Manage all aspects of construction projects within the assigned area, from initiation to completion, while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
- Supervise and lead construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, providing direction, guidance, and support to achieve project objectives.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against established milestones and deliverables.
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and resources necessary for construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations on construction sites, conducting regular inspections and addressing any safety concerns or violations promptly.
- Manage project budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasts, tracking costs, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure profitability and cost efficiency.
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and resolving issues to maintain positive client relationships and satisfaction.
- Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, financial analysis, and risk assessments, to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate construction teams and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build positive relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methods, materials, and equipment, as well as relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned area and work extended hours as necessary to meet project requirements
